The nsfs, notes.ini, ntfs are all platform independent. I recently copied over nsfs/notes.ini and ids from a NT machine to a linux domino server and was able to run the linux domino server after switching the ip address. Even the smtp configuration worked intact! If you enable samba.. copying files is a breeze...
Do not forget the chown commands if they do not look right.
